The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have a permanent, full-time **Senior Administrator** opportunity available to join our System Enablers & Engagement Group within the Prevention Directorate of NPHS**. **This role is critical in enabling the delivery of the NPHS strategic agenda for Pae Ora (Healthy Futures).

The **Senior Administrator** is responsible for providing senior administrative support to the System Enablers & Engagement Group Manager to enable the delivery of high-quality screening and immunisation services and programmes. The primary organisational impact outcome sought from this position is to support the Prevention immunisation services and programmes on behalf of the Prevention Directorate and Te Whatu Ora.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification - or comparable experience
- Proven experience in administrative support of a senior leader / administrative roles
- Experience in the health sector is desired but not essential
- Understanding & experience working in partnership with Pacific communities
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the specific relationship under te Tiriti Waitangi, and Te Whatu Ora's role in improving outcomes for iwi and Māori communities
