Join our High and Complex Needs (HCN) Interagency Unit, where we collaborate with multiple government sectors and non-government agencies to develop effective and individualised solutions for tamariki and rangatahi with high and complex needs.
We're looking for an experienced Administrator to join our HCN team. To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to learn quickly and be flexible and resilient, and most importantly, be a team player.
The purpose of the senior administrator role is the coordination and provision of quality administration services administrative support to the HCN Leadership Team, HCN board and HCN staff.
Reporting to the Manager HCN, this role ensures the smooth functioning of the HCN Unit by:
- Delivering reliable administrative services, including meetings management, travel coordination, invoices, and correspondence.
- Administering and supporting the HCN invoicing and payments system.
- Maintaining systems for information client information tracking, reporting, and quality assurance.
- Acting as a central point of contact for internal and cross-sector HCN enquiries.
- Maintaining systems for tracking information that can be used for quality monitoring and reporting against key performance indicators and the operation of HCN high and complex needs services.

Customer service is essential to this role, so you'll bring a positive customer attitude, approachable style, and strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have solid organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and be creative to achieve tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. This team is small and operates at a fast pace, so the ability to be agile is a must.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Competent business support know-how and good attention to detail
- Confidence in advising staff on business processes and resolving queries
- A professional and articulate telephone manner
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365
- A 'can do' attitude and a good sense of humour
- A clean, current, full New Zealand driver's licence is needed
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between
$57,096 to $62,773.00
