We are looking for an experienced criminal defence lawyer holding a PAL2 listing, with leadership and management skills, for our Hawkes Bay office.
We are a team of around 13 legal and support staff. We enjoy camaraderie and support in our busy and sometimes challenging environment. As a Legal Team Manager, you will lead a small team of lawyers and help create the working environment and culture that encourages our people to thrive. You will have the leadership skills to manage, develop and motivate a team of lawyers and the ability to relate to a wide range of people. You will be innovative in your approach, seeking to develop and maintain an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance the team's performance. You will also have the technical skills and PAL2 or 3 qualification to represent clients as part of an interesting caseload and be passionate about delivering the best outcomes for your clients. Enjoy strengthening a positive culture and supporting the performance and skill development of others.

**To be successful in the role, you must**:

- Be an experienced criminal lawyer and have a PAL2 or 3 listing
- Be a motivated and inspiring leader

- Model high personal and professional standards

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $100,221 and $130,876 based on skills and experience.
