The Client:
As one of Hawke's Bay's most respected full-service firms, this practice has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice across the region. The team enjoys a flexible, progressive work environment and a benefits package that mirrors firms on a national level.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be tasked with managing and providing legal advice relating to the division of property when a relationship ends. You will also be responsible for drafting and advising on prenuptial agreements, asset planning, and protection.
The firm is well established in the family and RP space already, so you will step into a busy practice with existing workflow and strong support from a collaborative team of family law specialists.
About you:
We're seeking lawyers from 4+ years PQE with strong expertise in relationship property. A background in family law, trusts, and the Family Protection Act would also be beneficial. You'll bring excellent drafting skills, sound judgement, and a pragmatic, client-focused approach.
Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator, a strategic thinker, and enjoy building strong client relationships.
Benefits and Perks:
- Flexibility on offer with local hybrid work policy + remote working available.
- Competitive remuneration package + KiwiSaver + health insurance + phone + laptop
- Supportive, fun, and social team that operates with a "trust" based system, leaving you to work independently and autonomously, but providing support and mentoring when needed.
With award-winning wineries, stunning beaches, and a relaxed pace of life, Hawke's Bay offers an unbeatable lifestyle.
Opportunities of this calibre rarely become available in the region or nationally, if there's any interest, then we strongly encourage you to apply.
