The Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) is a dynamic and values-driven organisation dedicated to transforming Tāmaki and empowering its communities. Our master plan includes building homes, improving infrastructure, enhancing local culture, and supporting economic growth. We work closely with mana whenua, community groups, and local businesses to create a vibrant and thriving Tāmaki.

About the opportunity:
As a Community Outcomes Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving positive change in Tāmaki. You will be the eyes and ears of the community and your primary focus will be on nurturing community growth, building capabilities within NGOs, community groups, and businesses by fostering equity outcomes for Māori and Pasifika. You will work with crown agencies and philanthropic groups to increase project deliveries for local Communities. You will also lead a team of dedicated professionals, working closely with diverse stakeholders to implement community capability projects and initiatives aligned with TRC’s strategic priorities.

In this role, you will be focused on deeply understanding the motivations and aspirations of the community and ensuring their voices are heard and translated into community projects. You will design and implement programmes to enhance community governance and sovereignty and will be the centre point between the community and TRC fostering meaningful and engaging connections along the way.

Who you will be:
You will be passionate about working with and making a real difference within Māori and Pasifika communities. You will have experience working with or in NGO’s and a commitment to Te Tiriti of Waitangi. You will have a deep understanding of operating within Vā /Te Wā and Te Ao Maori. Ideally, you will also have a deep understanding of the concept of Mana Motuhake and how to instill this into community initiatives and projects. Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop people is highly desirable to continue expanding on the existing team’s talents.
