**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Supply Chain, you will play a key part in the Commercial Team, responsible for managing contracts that drive the procurement and supply of 150 million trays of NZ Zespri Kiwifruit annually—contributing to over $2 billion in fruit and service payments.

As the Senior Commercial Contracts Analyst, you’ll lead the development and maintenance of Zespri’s critical commercial contracts, including:

- Supporting the commercial team and wider supply chain with robust analysis.
- Representing Zespri in contract development and negotiations.
- Engaging with the Industry Supply Group (ISG) and related subgroups.
- Building lasting partnerships with suppliers, industry stakeholders, and growers.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Drive ongoing development of industry pricing, payment structures, and standard cost models.
- Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with New Zealand suppliers, ensuring seamless delivery of fruit at the right time, place, and specification.
- Be the go-to person within Zespri for external suppliers, requiring a deep understanding of the entire business to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
- Manage the commercial aspects of Zespri’s pre-commercial varieties, including liaison with suppliers, contract fulfilment, and financial forecasting for operations.
- Lead or participate in key projects, and support Zespri’s commercial function with analytical insight.
- Lead negotiations for key contracts and collaborate on the drafting and execution of the annual supply agreement.
- Ensure contracts are clear, concise, and provide value-added service by measuring and tracking service level agreements (SLAs).

- Tertiary qualification in business or a related field is desirable.
- 5 years of experience in a commercial or corporate environment.
- Knowledge ofthe kiwifruit industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong analytical ability, coupled with persuasive communication and conflict management skills.
- Able to thrive in high-pressure environments and demonstrate resilience when facing challenges.
- Confident in making decisions and taking initiative while working independently.
