We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to come and work in our beautiful part of the country as a Kaitakawaenga - Iwi Liaison Officer. Be part of an expanding and innovative MPES team who live the values of Whakaiti, Manaakitanga, Kaitiakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Tikanga.

If you love working with our community and being the face of Police within the Maori community, this is the job for you. You will bridge and enhance relationships with Maori communities and develop positive relationships for safer communities together.

There is also a need to be dynamic, adjusting your mahi to suit the changing demands and needs of the community, including diversifying to work closely with our ethnic and Pasifika communities.

- This role is based in the Hamilton area. Some travel may be required.
- Can show relevant skills, knowledge and experience connecting with Maori across all sectors. Including but not limited to, Iwi Post settlement entities, service providers and organisations, hapu and marae.

**Utu a-tau | Salary**

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $87,306 and $91,353 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
