**About the role**

The **Director of Sales and Marketing** plays a fundamental role in driving the business growth and brand visibility of a company, especially within the hospitality industry. This position requires strategic oversight of both sales and marketing initiatives to ensure revenue targets are met and the brand remains competitive in the market.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- The efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
- Defining target markets and develop a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
- Leading efforts to build awareness of the hotel through digital marketing, public relations, and partnerships with local tourism boards, influencers, and media.
- Lead the sales and marketing team, ensuring they are aligned with the hotel’s goals.
- Build relationships with local businesses, corporations, travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the development of the hotel’s online presence, including website, social media channels, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Work closely with the hotel’s General Manager and operations team to ensure that the guest experience matches the promises made through marketing.
- Closely monitor the performance of all sales and marketing efforts, adapting strategies as needed to ensure continued growth.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications - External**
- Previous experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing or similar position
- Knowledge of the international market is essential
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and revenue management.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Digital marketing proficiency, including online sales channels and social media.
