**Role Overview**
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of NZ’s best hotels as a **Director of Sales**, leading our commercial success story. Reporting into the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role pivotal to driving revenue growth and positioning QT Auckland as the market leader in lifestyle hospitality.
As Director of Sales, you’ll shape and execute a dynamic sales strategy, inspire a high-performing team, and collaborate across the business to deliver exceptional results. This is an opportunity to join an iconic brand within EVT, where innovation, empowerment, and connection are at the heart of everything we do.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow market share and deliver revenue targets across all segments.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging networks to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue, and National Sales teams to create integrated campaigns and packages that drive demand.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting strategies to stay ahead and maximize opportunities.
- Oversee key accounts and high-value negotiations, ensuring alignment with hotel and group objectives.
- Manage reporting and forecasting, providing accurate insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Champion innovation and vertical selling, promoting the broader EVT portfolio to enhance revenue streams.

- Proven experience in senior sales leadership within hospitality (Essential).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of revenue management principles.
- A motivational leader who inspires teams and drives high performance.
- Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and representing a brand that escapes the ordinary.
