About the Role
The Data Centre Delivery Manager’s role is responsible for the management and coordination of customer operational activity through all NZ and AU Data Centres. Working with customers to provide solutions and build project plans is a fundamental part of the role along with the scheduling of work to be undertaken at the Data Centres by the Operations Team.
The Data Centre Delivery Manager must plan, procure and make available all resources for the on-site operations team to undertake customer operational work including, installations, decommissions and cabling work.
You must maintain a strong customer focus, obsessing over customer deliverables and demanding the highest standards in operational deliverables.

- Has proficient knowledge of systems and hardware that will aid in the monitoring and evaluation of tasks.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for managing all aspects of customer projects within the Data Centre during both the on boarding of new customers, and changes to existing customer environments to ensure complete customer satisfaction, within defined processes and standard. Some of the duties are as below:

- Ensure an outstanding customer experience through operational excellence.
- Ownership of the physical onboarding of customers including liaising with a customer to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Management of customer requests.
- Management of resources to deliver customer projects and tasks.
- Responsible for managing and planning the end to end implementation of customer requests. This includes but is not limited to:

- Quoting
- PO Creation
- Procuring
- Approval and access
- Rack design
- Installation of circuits, racks, equipment.
- Installation and removal of customer equipment
- Understanding workload required to implement customer changes and agreeing resource availability with the relevant people/groups in order to meet required deadlines
- Scheduling work to be undertaken by on-site operations team
- Ensuring adherence to (and documentation of) existing and new standards relating to customer change.
- Management of resources to deliver customer expected outcomes
- Ensuring all customer work is managed as outlined in the Data Centre Change Process (and other relevant processes).
- Responsible for ensuring all management systems and documentation are fully up to date (and compliant where applicable) at all times.
- Ensuring consistency of standards, processes, and methods of communication are consistent across Data Centres, including recommending or creating standards as required
