Reporting to the
- Environment Safety and Health Manager NZ_, the primary responsibility of this role will be to coordinate all aspects of HSE & Sustainability for operations in Sime Darby Motors Group (SDMG).
The role will be pivotal in implementing the business' HSE plan with Managers and ensuring continued compliance with company standards and current legislation and regulations.
**Essential requirements**:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge skills and attributes:
- Minimum of three years experience in an ESH / OSH role
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or Environment field
- A sound understanding of risk management
- Investigation skills/problem solving skills (preferably ICAM training or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach and mentor a wide range of people from different backgrounds
- Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills and familiarity with Microsoft suite software
- A proficient negotiator, influencer, and problem solver
