As a key member of the Customer Services team you will be responsible for Claims administration and Compliance coordination within defined timeframes and standards ensuring the delivery of a great customer experience through timely and accurate claims resolutions.

This role also promotes and manages Compliance across the Auckland region, providing support and technical knowledge to the site and shift managers to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance is met in terms of Customer Compliance, industry standards and external compliance requirements set out by MPI and national legislations.

**What would you be doing?**
- Processing all Carriage of goods claims received into the Claims Database in line with relevant SLA's
- Lodge claims and liaise with insurers for claims where the COGs value exceed our company excess policy
- Liaise with customers on claim updates providing professional customer focussed responses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support the People, Safety and Compliance Manager and Auckland Site Manager to ensure required internal and external audits are completed and that the site complies with RMP
- Drive Compliance to external Customer certifications (YUM, MPI)
- This role also acts as a back-up for Sales support and coordination supporting sales growth and retention activities.

**What you'll need to be brilliant**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role within a warehousing, distribution or transport environment
- NCEA level 3, and/or relevant tertiary certificate/diploma in Food Safety and/or Compliance
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with people at all levels, and external parties.
- Effective organisation skills
