**Some more information about the role**

Working closely with the Group Internal Audit Manager, you’ll be responsible for conducting end-to-end financial and operational audits.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering independent and insightful internal audit and assurance engagements.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Preparing audit programmes.

Analysing data for suspicious transactions including fraud investigation.

You will be based in Ellerslie (Auckland), but you’ll be auditing various sites around NZ and Australia so you’ll be away from home for 1 week per month for 8 months. Flexibility and work from home is available when in Auckland.

This role offers great career progression, with the view to develop to Group Internal Audit Manager over the next 1-2 years.

**So who are you & what is your profile?**

You will be an external or internal auditor who has the required experience and initiative to hit the ground running.

You need to be comfortable with dealing with a number of different stakeholders, from General Managers to those working on site.

Easy going and flexible and you’ll be a self-motivated individual who doesn’t mind travelling.

The key requirements to be successful in this role include:
3 years’ experience in an external or internal audit role

Proven ability to build working relationships with a variety of stakeholders

CA or CPA Qualification

Driving license

Experience in manufacturing industry desirable

SAP and SOX exposure desirable
