Reporting to the Assurance and Audit Manager, the SHE Management System **Internal Auditor** will be responsible for evaluating and improving the company’s quality and safety policies, procedures and practices. This role involves conducting regular audits, identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

**What you’ll do**
- Perform an in-depth assessment of operational records
- Provide guidance to the business on an acceptable means of compliance
- Work collaboratively with various departments
- Examine, verify, analyse and evaluate safety procedures and policies
- Ensure compliance with SHE Management Systems and any applicable regulations, laws or ordinances
- Be a safety leader and “walk the safety talk”

**What you’ll need**
- Recognised Tertiary qualification and/or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certificates
- Ability to work effectively in sometimes ambiguous situations
- Strong knowledge in the use of safe working and occupational health legislation and standards
- Familiarity with ISO standards 45001, 14001 and other relevant safety frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
