At TVNZ we're all about inspiring the conversations of Aotearoa - and we know nothing gets kiwis talking more than sport.

We already have a track record in delivering premium sport and live events coverage to New Zealanders, from the America's Cup to Te Matatini. And from later this year, we'll be the proud home of New Zealand Cricket through to 2026.

With some exciting live sport already signed up, we are looking for a new member for our sports content team.

**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

This brand-new opportunity for a talented person who is crazy about sports to join our sports and events team. Working alongside the Sports and Events General Manager, the Head of TVNZ+, the Sports Operational lead, and our sport producers, you will deal with sports rights holders, communicate across TVNZ company-wide workstreams, and report on performance of our sports. You will be our TVNZ+ sports editorial lead.

Your responsibilities will include day-to-day relationships and communications with sports bodies and rights holders including sourcing and managing all necessary imagery, companion content, and other core assets or metadata for all TVNZ workstreams including marketing, acquisitions, Media Ops, commercial and operations.

Working alongside all TVNZ workstreams to communicate our sports content propositions, schedules, calendars, sport specific rundowns or ad break opportunities, and any late changes.

**What we're looking for - Tā mātou e kimi nei**

To be successful in this role, first and foremost you'll be a person who works well in a team. You're super positive, you'll have a sense of humour, and you must be a sport nut. If you are good at detail and admin, and love to organise, that will be an advantage. You'll be able to show examples of either event experience, editorial oversight, producing, or working with sports bodies. A creative mindset with loads of fresh ideas would be welcome.
