This position manages all sports opportunities in the Primary Years 1-6 so that students are given every opportunity to participate in structured sporting activities, that coaches and managers are fully informed, and that parents have excellent communication pathways.

**The sports programme aims include**:

- to increase participation in sports and physical recreation
- to increase the quality of student participation in sports and physical recreation
- to assist students in gaining enjoyment from sport and physical recreation
- to deliver sport and physical recreation safely to students
- to cater for the different needs of all students
- to keep all stakeholders informed about events and achievements.
- to ensure the promotion of conduct and fair play in all areas of sport and physical recreation

**You will be required to**:

- perform a wide range of sports administrative tasks.
- participate in the delivery of the sports programme, Year 1-6 as required.
- Have a variety of skills, knowledge, and experience
- Be computer literate skills
- Administering systems that have been set up by the Sport and Physical education department
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be hands-on assistance with the delivery of sports programmes
- Manage, schedule, plan and administer:

- Interhouse events (Year 1 - 6)
- Mid Bays and SuperCluster events (Year 4 - 6)
- Manage all aspects of administration, organisation and planning for the AIMS Games annually
- Provide information or school publications including but not limited to weekly newsletter, yearbook
- Annual sports photographs and prizegivings.
