**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- We are seeking an **inspirational and strategic leader** to drive our vision for sport and clubs at ACG Parnell College, a thriving school community of around 1,900 students (Years 1-13).- This is a **newly created leadership position**, reflecting our commitment to elevating sporting and club programmes across the school. As **Director of Sport and Clubs**, you will bring strategic vision, operational excellence, and a passion for student development to lead a dynamic programme that champions both participation and performance. This is a permanent, full-time position due to commence term 4 2025.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Shape and deliver a **whole-school strategic plan for sport and clubs**, aligned with our educational values.
- Lead and inspire a team of coordinators, coaches, and volunteers.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, events, and facilities.
- Build strong relationships with local and national sporting organisations.
- Foster a culture that celebrates inclusion, teamwork, and excellence.
- Act as the public face of sport and clubs, representing the school with parents, community partners, and media.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- A degree in Sports Science, PE, Sports Management or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in school sport or a similar environment.
- Proven success in strategic planning, programme development, and team leadership.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage students, parents, and the wider community.
- A deep understanding of youth development and a commitment to inclusive participation.
