TRILITY, in partnership with Rotorua Lakes Council, is looking to fill the role of Process Controller. Reporting to the Team Leader of Operations, you will be responsible for all facets of wastewater treatment plant operation and associated network assets within your sphere of control. You will have a high sense of ownership for the plants control with duties covering all aspects of plant operations, extending to process control, water quality testing and maintenance of process equipment and other assets.

As part of this role you will work on your own initiative and assume responsibility for optimised plant operation. You will make and implement decisions relating to the treatment and processes. This role does involve being on an on-call roster.

Principle accountabilities of the role include;
- Safety, Quality and Environment
- Plant Commissioning and Plant Management
- Process Control
- Monitoring of Plant Performance
- Planned Maintenance and Maintenance Management
- Refurbishment and Replacement
- Unplanned Maintenance
- Experience in operation and maintenance of water, wastewater or similar facilities
- Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification, and experience within a relevant environment
- Experience in operating any chemical dosing equipment, exposure to quality assurance and CMMS systems would be advantageous
- Knowledge of contemporary water industry issues and relevant project management experience would also be highly valued.
- An enthusiastic and dedicated person with high levels of initiative and drive.
- High levels of maturity and aptitude with the ability to make decisions relating to the availability and performance of the plant.
- Sound judgement in relation to operational issues. Highly developed problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally and strategically.
