**About us**

InfraCore aims to continuously improve the quality of life for Rotorua residents and visitors through the provision of high-quality cost-effective services.

We work within the public utilities and services space with a particular focus on waters infrastructure, open spaces, city cleaning, general civil works and nursery services. We deliver a range of operations and maintenance services under long term contracts, as well as taking on specific project works.
- InfraCore takes pride in maintaining and caring for parks and reserves providing active and passive facilities for the enjoyment of the communities we serve._
- Our work includes everything from annual bedding displays, perennial gardens, mowing, weed control, arboricultural services, revegetation programs, sports field renovations and the delivery of landscape projects to enhance the local environment._
- InfraCore's nursery grows plants for both the home gardener and bulk commercial customers. Our knowledgeable team can assist with your plant queries._
- Our plants are distributed all over the New Zealand, and are proudly displayed in the many public gardens, roundabouts and median strips around Rotorua._
- At the nursery we lease plants for special events like school balls, graduations, party's & weddings._

**About the role**

This role will be a part of _our nursery team responsible for the care and day-to-day operations of our nursery_. Tasks includes:

- Daily responsibility for the care of healthy, attractive and fit for purpose Hire plants.
- Spraying, weeding, watering and dusting as required.
- Ensuring services are delivered in an effective and customer focused way.
- Offering technical horticultural knowledge.
- Displaying products and signage to encourage sales.
- Replenishing stock as required.
- Receiving and controlling stock.
- Regular reporting back to Manager providing work status.
- Using online point of sale system to record sales.
- Complete end of day cash up.

**About you**

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a current NZ driver's license
- Horticultural knowledge
- Proven customer support experience (minimum 2-3 years)
- Is highly detail focused.
- Can work in a methodical manner.
- Can use online app-based programme to record inspections.
- has strong communication skills.
- Can be adaptable.
- Has proven capability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- Has an understanding and commitment to hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Is physically fit,
- Is positive, punctual and reliable.
