**About the Role**
Advertising a designated senior role within the Workforce and Practice Development Unit - Nurse Coordinator - Nurse Entry to Practice (NETP) and Postgraduate Nursing Funding. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking to advance their career while contributing meaningfully to the growth of the nursing workforce. The Nurse Coordinator NETP and PG funding plays a pivotal role in the coordination of all components of the Hutt Valley NETP programme and PG nursing funding within the Workforce and Practice Development Unit.
**About the Team/Service Location**
The Workforce and Practice Development Unit (W&PDU) supports the District Chief Nurse, and Nurse Directors across the District. The W&PDU provides leadership and support for undergraduate, pre-registration, postgraduate and ongoing learning for nurses across the District and Region. Professional development is an important workforce focus across primary, secondary and tertiary services; as is developing, managing and improving processes and systems to optimise workforce contribution and resilience to ensure quality patient outcomes.
**About you**
- Proven experience in developing novice nurses and supporting nurses in their professional development opportunities
- Ability to manage budgetary requirements with financial oversight from Nurse Director Workforce Development
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across District
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, evolving healthcare environment
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
