**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Hutt South Team Community Mental Health and Addition Services for a permanent fulltime position for Administrator/Receptionist. This role is part of a team of five administrators/receptionists and Administrator Coordinator who coordinates the day to day functions of the team for our service users, whanau and staff.

The role provide professional, confidential and high quality administration/receptionist duties to the Mental Health & Addiction Service. The role involves a timely response to client/clinical staff needs through effective and efficient undertaking of administration/receptionist duties and provide cover for other administration/receptionist staff within the service as and when required. The role provides administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator and the Administrator Coordinator.

The Hutt South Team are comprised of dedicated health professional Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Addiction Clinicians, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational therapists and administrators delivering high quality health care to tangata whaiora and whanau in community setting. We provide a supportive Multi-Disciplinary Team approach and excellent training opportunities for staff development. We have a diverse range of staff and an amazing team dynamics.

**Moū - About you**

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and skilled administrator/receptionist who is:

- Personable and friendly
- Relates well to a diverse group of people and has amazing sense of humour
- Good verbal and written communications and Interpersonal skills
- High level and proven ability in the delivery of a customer focused service.
- Operates efficiently and undertaking duties as appropriate to the role and as directed by the Leadership Team
- Maintains robust processes and procedures for safe management of client information
- The ability to remain calm and focused during times of crisis and or high work load

Skills are experience we are looking for:

- Punctuality and have a strong work ethic
- A team Player - ability to work collaboratively with the Admin Coordinator and the Multidisciplinary team
- Has a Full Drivers licence
- Knowledge of mental health and addiction services would be an advantage
