**Hutt Hospital Palliative Care Service (HPCS) 0.6 - 0.8 FTE Senior Nurse role (28 to 32 hours per week)**
**Te Omanga is more than just a hospice.**
Te Omanga Hospice provides palliative care through an interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists and specially trained volunteers to those living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley.
We have a well-established Hospital Palliative Care team situated at Hutt Hospital. This team provides specialist palliative care consultation, advice and support to hospital clinicians to improve knowledge, coordination and quality of care for those with a life limited illness. The focus of this role is to promote a palliative care approach, provide specialist care input and support those delivering general palliative care, within Hutt Hospital.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team. This is a senior nurse position that requires previous palliative care experience, specialist palliative care knowledge and post graduate qualifications. This may suit a senior registered nurse who wishes to develop towards a clinical nurse specialist role.
