This is a permanent open-term opportunity.
As our Manager People Experience, you are responsible for leading a team of advisers and business partners to provide high-quality advice and support across the business, including organisational development strategies; diversity, equity, and inclusion; change; employment relations and recruitment.
You will have an inclusive and collaborative leadership style, and you are action oriented - so you won't hold back when it comes to rolling up your sleeves to deliver results as a team.
You will take a leadership role as part of the People leadership team and wider Organisational Effectiveness leadership group, and through building solid relationships with all our Toitū Te Whenua leaders, including our executive (Kaihautū) and senior leadership team (Ngā Amokura). You will lead a team of business partners who provide effective advice on operational and strategic issues, informed by a sound understanding of our work and the opportunities and challenges our leaders face. You will grow the team's capability through coaching and mentoring.

He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a leader or manager
- A solid background in organisational development
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to manage relationships with a wide range of people
- Demonstrated ability to lead key strategic projects through to success
- Experience developing and implementing flexible and agile work practices
- Strong ER skills and experience
- Solid working knowledge of current employment legislation, change management and Human Resource practices, supported by a qualification in HR or a related discipline
- A commitment to delivering on our Tiriti o Waitangi responsibilities
- A positive and professional can-do attitude and enthusiasm to contribute as a valued member of Toitū Te Whenua
