**Mō mātou - About us**:
Engineering New Zealand is the professional body for all engineers in New Zealand. It’s not your average membership organisation. We’re committed to thinking differently, always challenging the norm, and creating progressive experiences for our people, members, and stakeholders.

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**:
Our organisation is experiencing significant growth, and as such we now require the services of a talented recruitment consultant to join our friendly, successful, and supportive team as a HR Consultant/People Experience Advisor specialising in recruitment, onboarding and engagement.

Primarily focused on recruitment, you'll work closely with people leaders to understand their team requirements in what an exciting time is to join our expanding organisation. While this position is recruitment focused, you will have an opportunity to be involved in staff engagement, professional development, performance management and organisational design.

You may be a recruitment consultant looking for a move into human resources or you may be within the public sector and seeking a change to a people-centred organisation that offers remote and flexible working, unlimited wellbeing leave and a great culture. Maybe you are in a different sector but are looking for a new challenge

**Tuakiri - Personality**:
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

- Tertiary qualification in HR and/or comparable experience in an HR generalist role
- Experience managing aging recruitment campaigns and employment relations matters
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Technically proficient with a range of systems including payroll and HR systems
- Excellent written and verbal business communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with natural strength in emotional intelligence
- Excellent organisational skills and timekeeping, and a procedural-based approach to work.
- An empathy for people of all walks and an ability to engage in a respectful and professional manner.

We offer some exciting staff benefits:

- Monthly Social event
- Discounted massages
- Flexible working
- Free fresh fruit in the office
- Discounted Gym Membership
- Sick leave as required.

It's an exciting time at Te Ao Rangahau, Engineering New Zealand. We are on a journey to embed Te Ao Māori and mātauranga in our work, and to support the engineering profession to do the same. We’d love it if you are ahead of the pack on this journey or will enthusiastically join us on our way.

Our office is bright and modern, we offer a social, supportive and aspirational work culture, and we fully support flexible working arrangements. We know we do better when we have a diverse mix of people on our team. So, if there’s anything we can do to help you participate fully in the recruitment process, please let us know.
