**The opportunity**

We are currently on the lookout for a Claims Payment Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role based in our CBD office with flexible working arrangements available.

As a Claims Payment Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation and payment of ongoing claims on behalf of Case Managers, the management, assessment and payment of claims under the non-active case load, and management of the risk exposure to Fidelity Life.

This role will see you efficiently manage a portfolio of non-active claims and process all claims payments.

Day to day tasks involve:

- Accurately prepare all claim payments as instructed by the Case Manager and Claims Specialists
- Submit all payments for authorization within the required timeframes
- Accurately prepare and communicate payment confirmation to the customers and/ or third parties.
- Review, assess and make payments on all claims in a timely manner.
- Verify critical information and match against policy terms and conditions to determine validity
- Working with third parties and other in the team to obtain outcomes
- Electronic filing, data entry and record keeping

**About You**:
With prior experience in a fast-paced working environment you’ll have fantastic communication skills, allowing you easily build rapport with customers and colleagues, high attention to detail and accuracy and proven ability to empathise with our clients during the claims process. You have mastered the ability to work towards deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple work requirements and are a strong team player

Together with this you will have:

- Strong Microsoft office skillset including Word and Excel.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration
- Solid experience in liaising with third party providers
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and good organisational skills
- An understanding of the insurance industry(beneficial).
- Knowledge in finance or accounting principles (beneficial)
