We are now seeking an outstanding Claims Administrator to support our East Tamaki team and be responsible for processing all damages and losses claimed for our New Zealand Post items. The Claims Administrator will also be responsible for office requisitions and other sundry creditor payments and carry out a range of tasks to ensure the area operates to the required level of proficiency, efficiency and productivity.
Critical competencies needed as a Claims Administrator are in the areas of priority setting, an inquisitive mind, action orientation, customer and results focus with continuous improvement and peer relationships.
Along with these, it is expected the successful applicant will have experience in the following areas:
- Experience in either insurance, administration and customer service
- Advanced level of skills with Word, Excel and other MS Office Applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Planning and organisational skills, especially when it comes to managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Previous experience in the freight industry is desirable
