Our commercial laboratory is on the lookout for an **e**xperienced**Laboratory Technician** to join our close-knit team in **Parnell**. If you have a passion for science, a sharp eye for detail, and a drive to deliver high-quality results, we want to hear from you

This is a **permanent, full-time position** in a science-led setting where precision and purpose go hand in hand. The role is **completely laboratory based** and involves the preparation of a variety of sample types for asbestos testing, supporting our busy commercial lab team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical services to our clients.

Working **40 hours**per week**, typically between the hours of 7am - 7pm **Monday**to**Friday**.

**Your day-to-day will include**:

- Conducting lab administration duties to ensure efficient ongoing delivery of a quality analytical service to our clients
- Working closely with the extended team
- Supporting our clients’ needs
- Carrying out preparation of air filters, soils, and bulk materials for asbestos analysis
- Asbestos analysis of air filters, soils, and bulk materials
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Use of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to record data

**W**hat you bring**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in science (preferred)
- Experience in asbestos and mould analysis (3+ years desirable)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
