An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced technician to join as an addition to the existing team who has a proven background experience in **color matching**. With a hands-on approach to "inks", you will be based in the laboratory conducting tests and using your technical background attend to customer complaints. Your chemical/printing/paint from a similar position will give you the confidence and skill to excel in this role. A key requirement for the role is a great attitude, positive and energetic mindset and a sense of humor **About the role** This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who enjoys working in a laboratory and will not shy away from getting their hands dirty - literally A diverse role with a variety of skilled tasks including a range of tasks: - Basic testing such as viscosity, COF testing and understanding shade variations - Attending to NCR's - Interaction with customers - Supporting cross-functional departments such as production **Skills & Experience** - Experience in color matching is a must - Having worked in a **ink, printing, chemical or paint industry** with an understanding of resins and solvents is highly regarded - Thrive in a small team based Lab environment where you share your knowledge and feel your input is valued and genuinely appreciated. - Accuracy in documentation of laboratory work. - Sound interpersonal and communication skills. **Benefits** - Join a medium sized stable global company, well respected in their sector, where you will learn the best processes and practices and you will feel invested in. - Very competitive salary base and a culture that is enviable. - Strictly Monday - Friday Role, no weekend work. - Close to the city centre **How to apply** - Scitex specialises in permanent, contract and temporary recruitment - and has done since 1987.
