  • 2 roster options: Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday

**The Opportunity**

AsureQuality are looking for laboratory technicians across a number of teams to help with our annual increase in testing volumes for pesticide and veterinary medicine residue testing.

It is a fabulous opportunity for people to deepen their chemistry knowledge through receipt and handling of samples, performing of extraction techniques, and hands-on operation of chromatography instrumentation. Full training is provided on the job, including quality compliance with ISO 17025 and Safety measures to ensure the job is done reliably and safely according to the Worksafe Act 2015.

**About you**

To be successful in the role will require

  • A passion for science and environmental issues
  • Knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced, communicative environment
  • Exemplary attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills
  • Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos
  • A tertiary education in Chemistry or similar area is well regarded in this role.
