**As Junior Risk Analyst at Kiwibank, you will learn about banking regulatory reporting used by the RBNZ. You’ll also learn about how reporting influences the way banks operate, and business decisions and manage financial risk. Asses the impact of the economic environment on business provisions which impact banking profits.

You’ll produce reporting, controls and maintenance of risk models across Financial Risk. You will also prepare inputs to monthly Risk Committee reporting, and semi-annual financial risk disclosures.

This role would be for you if you have an aptitude for model development, processes, analysis, and problem solving, and a willingness to learn. We're committed to nurturing your career with continuous support, learning opportunities, and great experiences.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

- Recent graduates from quantitative disciplines such at Mathematics or Statistics or similar degrees will be considered.
- A genuine interest in banking, particularly financial risk, home lending and how banks work is essential.
- Strong experience with programming languages (e.g. SAS, Python, R and SQL) is essential.
- Excellent logic reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Visual Analytics (e.g. PowerBI).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Aptitude for complex problem solving and analysis.
- A desire to learn and a growth mindset.
