**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prioritise job schedule according to Production Schedulers requirements.
- Select and prepare material as required for manufacture.
- Ensure that nothing but exceptional quality product leaves the weld work centre.
- Minimise weld bay down time.
- Plan maintenance activities to maximise machine availability.
- Train current and future staff to maximise skill base, flexibility, efficiency, and quality.
- Ensure Welding and productivity “best-practice”.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Thorough understanding and experience in all facets of sheetmetal welding and in particular MIG / TIG - Aluminium and Stainless.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Proven experience planning workflow, maximizing efficiency and ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Ability to read workshop drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Show initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be physically fit, a team player with a great work ethic.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
