**About the opportunity**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join New Zealand’s largest exporter of live lobster as their next Leading Hand in their Christchurch factory They’re offering a competitive salary scheme, health insurance, a supportive and excellent team environment and more. This role does involve early starts and some weekends and public holiday work.

**Responsibilities will include**:
Reporting to the Team Leader, this role includes:

- Ensuring compliance and physically working on the production lines
- Receiving, grading and carrying out export packing of live lobster
- Maintain the facility to a standard that meets Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) requirements for a licenced RMP facility
- Maintain records to meet MPI and FLC requirements
- Maintain and record water quality parameters at the holding tank system to the standards required by FLC

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Full NZ driver's license
- Class 2 HT license / Forklift license would be ideal
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
