In this role, you will take responsibility for supporting managers in our Rural Division within New Zealand (**therefore travel is required).** This includes building and maintaining internal and external relationships and working in collaboration with rural teams to deliver excellent service. The objective of the role is to work proactively with line managers, enabling them to execute their legal obligations for SHE in line with continuous improvement in all areas of the business.

**In this role you will be**:
- Supporting the Rural Division to implement a safety management system that incorporates Rentokil Initial standards, legislative requirements and rural biosecurity and environment laws.
- Engaging and partnering with your stakeholders to drive a culture of safety within the rural division so that it becomes part of normal business processes.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of advice and support to management and employees alike across a broad range of SHE issues.
- Supporting and coaching the rural teams to identify and manage health, safety and well-being risk areas; ensuring that identified issues and key projects are integrated into the business and regional SHE plans; and developing and delivering SHE training.
- Complete audits, investigations and provide accurate reports.
**To succeed in this role**:
- You will be passionate about promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
- You will have a passion for the environment and promote environmental well-being.
- You 'll have proven and sound SHE knowledge and experience in an advisory or coordination role preferably within a high risk industry i.e forestry, adventure activities or military
- Preferably you will have health and safety or environment qualification/s or certification.
- You 'll also be a confident communicator who has the ability to communicate with diverse internal stakeholders.
- You will have a high standard of personal presentation, a desire to succeed, strong organisation skills and a solution-oriented focus;
- And you will possess a strong work ethic, a sense of humour and have a supportive approach to how you interact with people.
