We're looking for a Commercial Business Partner to join our Trade Me Commercial team in Auckland or Wellington. You'll be a highly valued commercial business partner to advise on strategic outcomes, commercial and financial management, analysis and reporting.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

Act as a trusted business partner to the Head of Marketplace and other senior leaders, offering critical commercial support, month-end review, analysis, and problem-solving.Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, providing expert financial management.Contribute to business growth by identifying commercial opportunities, maximising the Return on Investment (ROI) of initiatives, and supporting new product pricing.Lead financial modelling for major strategic initiatives, including developing and maintaining a 5-year forecast model.Proactively develop relationships with key stakeholders and champion an open, fun, positive, and highly productive team culture.

What you will bring to our team:

A solid foundation within a Big 4 or large consultancy firm.At least 2 years experience in a commercial business/corporate finance role, ideally within a corporate setting and in a software / technology industry.A strategic thinker who has experience with strategy development, financial modelling, core financial management, business improvement identification and solution formulation.Have the knowledge, personality, and strong oral and written communication skills to
rapidly gain credibility with, and influence, key stakeholders, and challenge people and ideas in a constructive way.The ability to work at pace and prioritise effectively.A relevant qualification in accounting / finance / economics.You'll have the best time working at Trade Me, and this is why:
