Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated paediatric registered nurse to oversee and support the effective recruitment and coordination of the PREschool Children's Anti-inflammatory REliever (PRECARE) clinical trial. This role will also support other child health research undertaken by the research team.
This is a fixed term position due to three year short term funding.
This role is responsible for screening, recruiting, gaining informed consent and randomising participants to the PRECARE study. You will coordinate participant study visits, collect data and complete study databases, as well as providing education for participants and their families, and supporting them over the duration of the study. This role will liaise with other sites involved in the study, as well as other study team members, trial investigators and the steering group.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

Be a registered nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in New Zealand
Evidence of competence to practice within the Registered Nurse scope of practice
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in paediatric nursing or clinical trials
Have excellent interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills
Have previous experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database entry

**Desired skills**:

- Commenced study/completed post graduate level study
- Have research experience and understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines
- Have experience in clinical teaching
