To be successful in this role there are a few things you'll need to have, and few things which would be an advantage to you. You'll have project management experience and had time working in an emergency response environment. You might come from another Govt department, or perhaps a regional or local council.

This is a senior role, so some informal leadership is expected. It'll be to your advantage if you have experience mentoring or leading others. However, you may be at a point in your career where you're looking to step up into a senior role, and confident to adapt and navigate your way in this space quickly.
