**The role | Te tūranga**

As a Repairs Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Customer Service Technician to maintain consumer satisfaction through prompt and effective resolution with customer repairs and warranty issues. You will take ownership of basic customer repairs and follow them through to a satisfactory resolution with the support of the Customer Service Technician. In addition, you will assist with repairs to returned product to maximize the recoverable value to the business.

Ideally you will have some experience in furniture repair, upholsterer, or similar industry and you must also have
- Experience in a customer service position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening, influencing and critical thinking skills
- Hands on with an ability to multitask
- A commitment to high quality work and professionalism.

**Salary**: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
