Construction Worker and Plumber

PBS Limited is an Auckland based construction company, due to business needs, they are looking for 2 construction workers and 2 Plumbers to join their onsite construction team.
All the positions available are full time permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours per week.
**The main job responsibilities are as follows**:
**Construction worker**: (26.69-30)
l Cleaning the construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings
l Assisting in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts
l Operating and caring for the construction tools, equipment and machines
l Helping equipment operators, carpenters and all other skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary
l Loading or unloading or moving construction materials, tools and equipment & heavy lifting around the building site
l Helping erecting and dismantling scaffolding and other site facilities
l Following instructions from supervisors
l Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner
l Clean work area, maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done

l Previous relevant working experience is required
Plumber (26.69-35)
l measure, cut and shape pipes
l install, join and seal pipes and fittings
l studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
l installing water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems
l designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
l fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks
l installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
l installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
l install and maintain hot water and heating systems such as hot water tanks, central heating, gas heaters and heat pumps
l lay or repair drains, and get consents from local councils to do the work
l install and repair roofing pipes and spouting
l replace or repair damaged or blocked water, sewerage and gas pipes
l install fixtures such as gas stoves, toilets, basins, septic tanks and air-conditioning systems
**To be successful, you will need to**:
l Relevant qualification NZQF L4 or above
l Minimum 3 years working experience can substitute the working experience requirement
l Hard working
l Be reliable
