Smart Supermarket Botany is located in East Auckland. We offer a wide range of groceries and other products that meet your daily needs. We now need two Forklift Drivers to help us maintain our high standard. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.

This position involves the following tasks:

- Operates forklift controls to position machinery and raise or lower forks for stacking and unstacking materials in our supermarket’s warehouse.
- Receiving incoming goods.
- Transports goods to assigned storage or processing areas within the warehouses.
- Ensures materials are stored in designated locations to facilitate easy retrieval.
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and putting goods at the correct shelf
- Monitors forklift performance.
- Inspects equipment regularly to detect signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Carries out routine servicing, minor repairs, and necessary adjustments to forklifts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Other reasonable tasks required by management

To qualify for the job, you need to have
- At least 3 years of work experience in a retail context or driving.
- You must be able to work during the weekend and till 9 PM at night
- You should have can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure
- You should also be an organized person with good time management skills
