We are seeking a Workforce Planning Modeller who will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining advanced workforce planning models. Your work will ensure that KiwiRail has the right tools and labour models to meet customer and stakeholder needs effectively.
**In this role you will**:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated models to predict staffing needs and optimise workforce allocation.
- Analyse data and create statistical models to support strategic decision-making in workforce.
- planning.
- Collaborate with People & Capability (P&C), finance, and operational teams to align staffing plans with business objectives and adapt to changing demands.
- Lead the identification and integration of various inputs into the models, working creatively with different teams across the organisation.

- Strong data analysis and statistical modelling skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A deep understanding of workforce planning and business processes.
- Proven ability to lead and provide expertise in workforce and labour modelling.
