Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to join our Business Lending tīma (team) and be responsible for remediations and domain risk activities. Reporting to the Portfolio Lead - Business Lending, you'll be part of a tīma that is critical to how BNZ turns up for NZ businesses from the smallest small business to the largest institutional client. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Portfolio Lead, and they let us know the following about the tūranga (role). What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete?- Lead remediation events from discovery to delivery, including facilitation of remediation briefings to stakeholders, and day to day organisation and prioritisation of work across all Business Leading personnel supporting remediations.- Work with complex customer and financial data to translate themes into actionable insights to support decision making on remediations.- Advocate for and achieve strategic solutions to remediation themes through our new core and banker platforms.- Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, risk partners and the leadership team to drive timely remediation outcomes for customers and colleagues.- Delivery of other domain related risk activities, including analytics and reporting. You will have the ability to directly improve and influence the entire Business Lending journey which will enable our bankers to spend more time with our customers. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this tūranga? We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in leading and owning projects across a portfolio. You will also have: - Strategic and critical thinking ability, including the ability to bring together streams of information and articulate the customer and colleague outcomes clearly and succinctly.- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with confident and proven decision-making skills.- Proven experience in Banking and Financial Services, preferably with a background in Commercial, Corporate or Institutional Banking.- Preferred - experience with our products and services, along with knowledge or experience in remediation delivery.
