We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and elevate the Consumer portfolio product offering. This is a key portfolio to NZ Post encompassing all our New Zealand consumers sending parcels domestically and overseas, either through our extensive retail network nationwide or online.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
As the Senior Product Manager in our Consumer team, you'll own the strategy, development, delivery and lifecycle management of products and services that form part of our domestic and international consumer portfolio.
As part of the wider Consumer team, you'll collaborate and work across a wide range of the business from marketing, digital, data and IT as well as supply chain and operations. You'll work with our vendors, partners and internal delivery teams to offer and deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs. With a passion for sustainability and the environment, you will also lead consumer product initiatives to meet NZ Post's sustainable packaging commitments.
You'll be the advocate for products within your portfolio, understanding consumer and retailer needs and work across the business to ensure commercial and customer outcomes are met, leading change, and managing services at different stages of their lifecycle.

You'll either be an experienced Product Manager looking to take on more strategic ownership in your next move, or already a seasoned senior practitioner, either way you'll have an understanding of the importance of product lifecycle development and how to build products that meet business and customer needs based on the strategic direction the company is headed towards.
You'll be a strong influencer and collaborator who is skilled in leading and driving initiatives within complex and at times ambiguous environments. You'll be driven by the opportunity to improve your portfolio and be skilled at taking the business and our customers on that journey with you.
Naturally strategic and commercially savvy, you'll understand business drivers, enjoy challenging the status quo and of course, have exceptional communication skills. Fast paced and evolving environments are where you do your best work, and this will be no different.
