Work for a local Civil Contractor who are looking for a qualified drainlayer to step up into a leadership role

**The Opportunity**:
An awesome opportunity for a qualified drainlayer with leadership experience to take a step up in their career. Our client is looking for a keen individual who is willing to learn and take on some operational responsibility within the business. A big part of this role will be assisting the General manager with the day to day on site activities of the business and ensuring the everything is running smoothly. The company is a locally owned civil contractor based in Lower Hutt and operate throughout the greater Wellington region.

You will be responsible for:

- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant instruction and specifications
- You will lead and provide guidance to your crew.
- Ensuring your crew complies with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist the General Manager with day to day activities

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Drainage qualifications
- Leadership Skills
- Full class 1 drivers license
- Proven track record of operating machinery in civil construction

**What you'll get in return**:
