**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Drainage / Pavement Foreman is responsible for providing hands-on and on-site supervision of crew members. The foreperson will act as the technical first-line support for day-to-day issues that arise on site, however, are also expected to be a working member of the team.

Daily tasks include providing hands-on supervision to the crew, ensuring all works are completed within safety, quality, budget, and timeline guidelines. Liaising daily with the Supervisor and Project Engineer for planned work and escalating any concerns/risks with programme.

This role will also be expected to carry out other construction labouring duties as and when required.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, it is you should be motivated, and willing to work hard to ensure your own personal growth and the development of the team. There is a strong focus on meeting client expectations and providing high levels of customer service. You will need to have good communication skills, and a desire to go the extra mile
- Demonstrated experience in the road maintenance industry (e.g. Dig Outs, Mill & Fill and other pavement treatments, asphalt placing, kerbing, drainage, etc)
- Proven team leadership skills
- Valid Full Class 1 Driver’s License minimum, however, class 2 driver’s license will be an advantage
- STMS Level 1 is an advantage but minimum Level 1 TC
