About the role | Mō te tūnga
The Team Leader Financial Services co-ordinates and supervises activities and workflow management across Accounts Payable, Purchase Card and Expense Management, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control on behalf of Oranga Tamariki.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and supervise the Financial Services team activities
- Ensure that the external information is updated in a timely manner to Financial Management Information System (FMIS)
- Provide coaching and guidance for individual performance and development
- Build and maintain highly credible and valued professional relationships.

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
- Knowledge of accounting processes and practices
- Ability to deliver the expected benefits from relevant financial business improvements in systems and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in managing internally focused relationships
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate with others, across the spectrum of Oranga Tamariki functions
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audience and build and maintain rapport with others
- Ability to problem solve
- Knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific people's culture is desirable
