We a small, effective team that operates at the intersection of business, technology, and support functions, enabling collaboration and alignment across the bank. The team have deep knowledge of BNZs channels and services, and operate with a relaxed hierarchy and an open communication style. Mō te Role | About the Role We sat down with our Head of Digital Adoption, and they let us know the following about the role. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? - Enhance data capabilities: Partner with Data & Analytics and Technology teams to improve data collection, reporting, and performance measurement tools for digital channels. - Generate actionable insights: Leverage analytical tools to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and drive improvements in digital channel performance and customer engagement. - Support strategic decision-making: Use performance data to inform digital transformation initiatives, business case development, impact analysis, and investment decisions. - Drive continuous Improvement: Lead regular reporting cycles, present insights to stakeholders, adopt new tools and methodologies, and benchmark against market trends to refine digital performance strategies. You’ll join the Digital Adoption and Performance Team, within Digital Channels, a collaborative team that values customer-centric innovation, open communication, and team success. Working across strategy, data, and technology, you’ll deliver performance reporting and actionable recommendations that drive digital transformation and improve customer experiences. If you're passionate about uncovering trends, influencing decisions, and making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you. What skills and experience are required for this role? This is an opportunity for someone with proven experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics roles (5+ years), preferably within financial services. Familiarity using information from analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau) would also be beneficial. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? - Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations. - Strong experience in digital analytics, performance reporting, or business intelligence. - Ability to synthesize information from different insights from multiple data sources.
