We are seeking an experienced Import Airfreight Operator to join our Auckland-based IFF operations team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day import airfreight operations for our local and global accounts.

**Typical tasks include**:

- Answering internal and external client enquiries.
- Processing shipments for import.
- Updating shipment events within KPI time range.
- Invoicing to meet client expectations and internal KPI.
- Solving problems, including delays, short-landings and any claims related to shipments.
- Liaising with Airport Terminal Operators and other key suppliers.

**Requirements**:
**What we require from you**:

- Ideally 2-3 years freight-forwarding experience.
- A comprehensive knowledge of airfreight operations, with a clear understanding of industry terminology, including Incoterms.
- Sound computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

**The following would be advantageous**:

- CargoWise experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace / AOG handling.
- AvSec security clearance.
- RACA certification.
