About The Role:

Reporting to the Airfreight Manager, you'll coordinate end-to-end perishable airfreight shipments. You'll work with customers, warehouses, airlines, and overseas agents to ensure all cargo, documentation, and communication are managed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer quotations and confirm orders.
  • Arrange cartage pick-ups and book airline space.
  • Communicate booking details, cut-off times, and required paperwork.
  • Liaise with warehouse teams on inbound cargo, loading, storage, and flight schedules.
  • Prepare and manage export documents (MPI health certificates, phytosanitary certificates, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Send pre-alerts, track cargo, and update stakeholders on delays.
  • Obtain PODs for DAP/DAT/DDP shipments.
  • Process overseas agent invoices and domestic charges.

You'll Bring:

  • Experience in freight, logistics, airfreight, or export documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel) cargowise EDI is a bonus
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and full NZ driver's license.
  • Familiarity with export certificates and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
