**About the company**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you’ll work closely with the engineering team, local Iwi and Council, providing guidance on Resource and Environmental Management, to ensure the successful completion of their expansion project.

**Duties will include**
- Chairing project steering committee
- Managing project deliverables
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Providing sound planning and environmental guidance

To be successful in this role, you’ll have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of environmental management systems and procedures and proven ability to deliver results. You’ll also bring the following skills and experience.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Resource Management or similar
- Solid, practical experience in a previous RMA position
- Project management experience
- Proven stakeholder management experience

While ideally based in Wellington, there is opportunity for an Auckland base, however travel to Wellington will be frequent.
