Downer NZ has many exciting opportunities ahead to help reimagine and transform Aotearoa New Zealand and support our Pacific Island neighbours to enable a resilient, sustainable future. We work collaboratively with our customers to support their infrastructure and services needs as they tackle aging assets, regulatory reform, climate change, new technologies, and changing consumer behaviours.

As a business in growth mode and with an exciting pipeline of work ahead of us, we are looking for a multiple people to work on some exciting projects in the Pacific. We are particularly keen to talk to you if you have experience working in the Pacific and a proven knack for working with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate strategies or solutions that support broader social outcomes for communities in New Zealand and the Pacific.

We currently have great projects in Niue and Solomon Islands, and interesting opportunities in Nauru, Tokelau and Tuvalu, with a variety of work across the wider civil and building construction sector.

These roles demand the ability to self-manage as well as the willingness to be a team player in this challenging environment. You will need to be flexible and organised as working hours will be irregular and extended on occasions.
- Salaried positions working a minimum 6 days/ week during the onsite rotation

- One-week paid leave with airfares for every 6 weeks worked on site

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven practical experience in a contracting environment
- Leadership skills, especially in regard to Health & Safety
- Strong communication and relationship building
- Be computer literate and be adaptable to changing technology
- The ability to stay calm under pressure, connect the dots and be innovative in your approach
- Relevant tertiary education
